Sometimes just trying to replace negative thoughts doesn't cut it. Dressing up, going out and doing things that negate the bad thoughts can be more helpful. I hope your vacay will be full of those sorts of things!Mamabeekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15318586703726237706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4362402102015121442.post-49495213515690140762009-08-18T09:34:16.032-04:002009-08-18T09:34:16.032-04:00I haven't bounced over here in a while...sound...I haven't bounced over here in a while...sounds like you are going through a lot :o( I am going to send positive vibes your way...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4362402102015121442.post-40478361759655268562009-08-17T18:05:17.130-04:002009-08-17T18:05:17.130-04:00I hate negative talk-it starts such a vicious cycl...I hate negative talk-it starts such a vicious cycle. I've read that you just need to say positive things to yourself, even if you don't think they are true. It's suppose to stop the cycle, although I find it hard to do.Jenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07986787458979351622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4362402102015121442.post-68116888828299023832009-08-16T11:36:25.789-04:002009-08-16T11:36:25.789-04:00I agree with Seeking Solace. I'm not sure if there is an adaptive reason for that -- maybe just to force ourselves to take time to fully experience the good and bad in life.PGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02160883537054763513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4362402102015121442.post-47453511688511015432009-08-15T15:57:33.234-04:002009-08-15T15:57:33.234-04:00It happens to us all sometimes -- feminism and bod...It happens to us all sometimes -- feminism and body acceptance are very important to me, but I have plenty of days when I look in the mirror and criticize myself. When the media tells us we need to buy things to fix ourselves every day, it just seeps into our brains.
