Thank you gift suggestion

DH and I are staying with grad school friends this weekend and I'd like to get them something as a thank you.

It's a guy and girl. They're not a couple, just house mates.

Any suggestions? I'd like to give them something (individual things if necessary) that they'd both like.

    That is a cool idea! I'll have to check out their drink ware when I get there and see what I can come up with.

    Grad students? BOOZE! Unless they aren't drinkers.... I like to get a nice bottle of wine and flowers as host/hostess gift. I've also brought cakes. Cake goes over very well.

    Thanks for all the great suggestions everyone.

    I actually ended up buying the guy breakfast. We went out just the two of us and I figured it would be a nice gesture.

    For my female friend, she was feeling ill on Saturday so I bought her some teas and this really cute container to hold it in. She is a huge tea fan and I also figured if her stomach was upset it might help to settle it.
