As I'm winding down my post-doc job and starting to think about the new me, I decided to shake things up around here.
I changed my layout and blog description and added a new picture of a place I love .
I also changed some things about me yesterday, chopped off about 6 inches of my hair and got funky red highlights. You can kinda seem them in this picture here. I'll see about getting a better one that I can share with you.
I'm sure over the next few weeks there will be more changes to come.

Ooh - pretty! I've only highlighted mine a couple of times, but I always miss the natural color. Unfortunately, the natural color is getting a touch gray lately.
Cute highlights -- red is a color I keep going back to because I think it looks great on hair. It's the one bright color you can use without being stereotyped as a punk or unprofessional or something.

I love the new look and the pic up top. Hair is pretty and fun too! Good to have a physical transition to demarcate a professional one. :)

Katie- I'm the same way about my natural color, although that is why I'm a fan of highlights. That way you get the fun of new color and get to keep the natural color too.
DiDi- I agree about red. I'm a huge fan, it just fades so fast.
